This design is a tribute to the resilience of the wilderness within our hearts and all around us. No amount of human made barrier nor concrete construction can halt the eventual permeation of wildlife through it. It’s only a matter of time.

There are living trees today that have known the world before we built our biggest cities. Even some that are thousands of years old. There may be some alive today that will see the world after our cities have gone. Regardless, in many forms, the unyielding heart of the wild will live on.
